Bella Coola Fire Department serves the Bella Coola townsite (AKA "Downtown"), from the Clayton Falls Recreation Area to Tonquin Road. Our service area includes important structures and landmarks such as the Government Wharf, Bella Coola General Hospital, Bella Coola Elementary, and the Regional District Landfill and Transfer Station. We are a small and dedicated team of fully volunteer firefighters who spend our downtime training, maintaining, and educating as best we can.

We currently have as many firefighters as we can handle and are not actively seeking new recruits. However, we are always looking for fit, capable individuals who reside in the downtown area, or within a short driving distance.
